This new home, situated on the Oregon coast, is nestled along a secluded  portion of the beach. The house is organized with the kitchen and living room located on the top level to allow for easy access from the street and commanding views along the coastline to the south and out to the Pacific Ocean.

The main floor of the new home is open with the space arranged as a great room with a kitchen, dining room and living roof sharing the space under the soaring roof which is supported by a massive concrete column from which spring four canted posts to support the roof above. Directly above the column, nestled between the posts, is a pyramidal skylight which brings in light on those overcast days common to the Oregon coast.
